Android - Where to start?
Android where to start
For long time I wanted to have look on Android development. Due to various "excuses" I did not do so even though I own HTC Hero or as T-Mobile name it T-Mobile G2. Bellow are listed available resources as to 28th March 2010.
Android Tools/SDKs
- Android Developers is official site. Here you can download SDKs, browse API , extensive developer's guide and various resources including code samples.
- Sony Ericsson
- SE Android section with general info
- Tools and white papers
- HTC - Android
- Motorola
- Android section with general info
- MOTODEV Studio for Android - tools
- At the moment there are no Android tools for Samsung or LG
Simple start/how-to developing in:
- IntelliJ IDEA
- Eclipse
- NetBeans 1 or 2 (WARNING!!! NetBeans been always behind with Android SDKs, they more active with JavaFX)
